This is a slide presentation I prepared on something that students wouldn't normally think about - TAXES... (Why would they...?)
There is a student exercise at the end.
The short writing assignment deals with whether our government uses taxes wisely. The kids will no doubt have quite strong opinions on the matter. (Bonus, they also get a history lesson and some great rock & roll!)
